The RS-485 communication interface USB-RS485-2 allows data transfer between devices with USB interface (e.g. PC, notebook, handheld terminal) and meters or other devices with RS-485 interface according EIA-485-A-98 (R2003).

Article number: USB-RS485-2-12V

The RS-485 communication interface USB-RS485-2-12V allows data transfer between devices with USB interface (e.g. PC, notebook, handheld terminal) with the Local Metrological Network (LMN) interface of smart meters.

 

The RJ12 connection cable is designed for use with the Landis + Gyr® E220 / E320 Smart Meter LMN interface and contains a galvanically isolated 12 V supply in addition to the RS-485 interface.

 

The 12 V power supply is short-circuit proof and can be loaded with a maximum of 70 mA.
